Who we are

Empire Product Reviews is a product-review and shopping-guidance publication operated by Brittany Johnson.

What we collect

• Email address — only when you subscribe through a signup form on the site. We use it to send the newsletter and nothing else.
• Basic analytics — page views, referrer, device type, coarse location. We use privacy- respecting analytics to understand which content resonates.
• Advertising pixels — we run a Pinterest tag to measure the performance of Pinterest traffic. It sees your visit to the page it fires on.
• Amazon affiliate clicks — when you click a product link, Amazon records the click. Their privacy policy governs what happens next.

What we don't collect

We don't sell email addresses. We don't collect payment information (Amazon does that, on their site, when you buy). We don't track you across other websites for advertising purposes.

Your choices

Every newsletter has an unsubscribe link. You can disable cookies and tracking pixels in your browser. Subscriber records can also be removed through the unsubscribe controls included in marketing email.
